Sailing along to foreign shores
For over three decades, we have enhanced export opportunities for India and driven the economic growth of the nation. We have attempted to integrate foreign trade and investment opportunities to build value over the long term. At a time when India is readying to make a mark on the global arena as a manufacturing hub, to invest abroad for seeking resources, markets, efficiencies or even strategic assets, we encourage Indian companies to invest abroad and are here to facilitate conditions for that.
We can provide access to foreign markets by providing:
Term loans to Indian companies for :
Equity investment in their overseas Joint Venture (JV)/Wholly Owned Subsidiaries (WOS)
Onward lending to their overseas JV/WOS.
Term loans to overseas JV/WOS of Indian Companies towards part financing:

Any other activity that would otherwise be eligible for finance from Exim Bank had it been an Indian entity
Guarantee facility to the overseas JV/WOS for raising term loans/working capital
We provide funded/ non-funded assistance to the Indian promoter company.
Our financing is available in INR and/or FC (to the Indian borrower) and in foreign currency to the overseas entity [in conformity with RBI guidelines].
Commercial interest rates are charged on the term finance.
